Job Description The Distance Education department is seeking a Federal Work Study student for 12 hours per week for the Spring 2026 term. Duties include:
Producing content in alternate media formats.
Preparing requested materials related to course documents for use in Canvas.
Updating courses with alt text and closed captions, as well as other curriculum content application updates.
Assisting with HTML code in Canvas as needed for standard compliance.
Required Qualifications
Completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required.
Excellent computer skills; ability to troubleshoot basic hardware and software programs and quickly grasp new technologies.
Basic maintenance of educational equipment.
Basic office methods, practices, and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications None specified.
Salary Minimum $11.00 per hour.
