Position Overview The Regional Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing safety operations across multiple active data center construction sites in the Eastern U.S., with a primary focus on the Columbus, OH and Indiana markets. This role requires a hands‑on, field‑driven leader who believes safety is built through presence, coaching, and accountability. The Regional Safety Manager owns site-level safety execution, mentors safety staff and field leadership, and ensures safe work practices are consistently followed across high‑headcount job sites.

Key Responsibilities

Lead safety operations across multiple active data center construction sites within the region

Maintain a strong on-site presence and direct engagement with field personnel and leadership

Mentor safety staff and field leaders to promote consistent, practical safety behaviors

Build and sustain a coaching-based safety culture focused on prevention and accountability

Proactively identify safety risks and implement corrective actions before incidents occur

Develop and manage regional safety initiatives aligned with company and client requirements

Support field leadership in identifying emerging environmental, health, and safety concerns

Oversee safety training programs in accordance with company standards and client guidelines

Conduct and manage job hazard analyses, inspections, audits, and corrective action tracking

Lead incident and injury investigations and ensure accurate documentation and reporting

Maintain safety records, audit documentation, and compliance reporting for assigned sites

Partner with operations, HR, and safety leadership on workers compensation and compliance efforts

Communicate safety expectations, performance metrics, and progress to regional leadership

Travel as required to support regional construction operations

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field

CSP, ASP, or SMS certification

Experience supporting hyperscale or mission‑critical data center construction projects

Prior responsibility for high‑headcount job sites or multi‑site regional safety oversight

Strong background partnering with operations leadership on safety performance improvement

Experience building or scaling safety programs in rapidly growing construction environments

Required Qualifications

OSHA 30 required

CHST required

Minimum 5 years of safety leadership experience in construction environments

Experience supporting large‑scale or mission‑critical construction projects preferred

Proven ability to manage safety programs across multiple active job sites

Strong working knowledge of construction safety regulations, inspections, and investigations

Demonstrated leadership style focused on coaching, mentoring, and accountability

Experience with safety audits, hazard reviews, and job safety analysis

Proficient with Microsoft Office tools

Strong communication, judgment, and decision‑making skills

Ability to manage competing priorities in fast‑paced, high‑headcount environments
