About the role
Mater Foundation is looking for a Partner Account Manager to join the team! This maximum term, full-time, 12-month parental leave contract will be based at our Newstead campus.

Mater Foundation helps to underpin an extensive network of hospitals across Queensland, a world-class research institute and a nationally accredited education provider.
This position plays a key role in the success of the Corporate & Community Engagement (CCE) team, which delivers campaigns, events and partnerships that engage and inspire a community of support for Mater.
You will build and nurture relationships with our key sponsors and partners to maximise outcomes. In this role, you’ll manage sponsor and partner deliverables across key campaigns and events to achieve stated objectives and mutually beneficial outcomes. The role has key responsibilities across:
Managing day to day relationships with selected Mater Foundation partners;
Sponsorship account management for campaigns and events such as Nine Telethon, International Women’s Day Fun Run, Brisbane to Gold Coast Cycle for Cancer, Mater Smiling for Smiddy Challenge and Noosa Triathlon; and
Corporate engagement and participation in above listed campaigns and other community initiatives such as Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Mater Giving Day.
About you You will have tertiary qualification in business, marketing or related disciplineand practical experience in the development, management and sourcing of corporate & community partnerships and/or sponsorships. You will also meet the below criteria:
3-5 years in account/sponsorship management, with strong relationship, communication, and negotiation skills
Proficient in project planning, stakeholder communication, and budget monitoring
Skilled in research, analysis, and problem-solving across various settings
Ability to excel in public speaking, presentations, and relationship building
Enthusiastic, deadline-driven problem solver with a commitment to effective relationship management
Completion of Fundraising Institute of Australia Code of Conduct required.
