Healthcare Litigation Attorney (Contract)

Remote | Approx. 3 Months | Immediate Start

Ready to jump into meaningful healthcare litigation work without the commute?

We’re seeking a Healthcare Litigation Attorney for a remote, three-month contract engagement. This role is ideal for an attorney who knows healthcare litigation, speaks fluent civil procedure, and understands medical coding well enough to spot issues before they turn into problems.

If you’re detail‑driven, deadline‑savvy, and comfortable parachuting into active matters, this one’s for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

Drafting and responding to pleadings, motions, and discovery

Conducting legal research and preparing litigation memoranda

Assisting with deposition preparation, witness interviews, and examinations

Participating in hearings, mediations, and trial preparation

Managing assigned cases and tracking court deadlines

Communicating with clients, experts, and opposing counsel

What We’re Looking For You’re a strong litigator who can hit the ground running and work independently in a remote environment.

The Ideal Background Includes:

1–5 years of litigation experience (healthcare litigation strongly preferred)

Working knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance issues

Understanding of medical coding

Solid grasp of civil litigation procedures and court rules

Ability to juggle multiple matters and deadlines with confidence

Excellent written and oral advocacy skills

Sharp attention to detail and strong analytical instincts

Credentials

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Active member of the Florida Bar

Admission to Florida federal courts preferred, but not required
