Job Description Sirius Staffing is seeking a Process Engineering Analyst for a hands‑on, manufacturing‑focused role to support production operations, new product introductions (NPI), and continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires significant time on the manufacturing floor working directly with equipment, operators, and engineering teams to improve efficiency, quality, and process stability.
Work Schedule: M-F 6‑4. Rate: 21 hr.
Key Responsibilities
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) from concept through mass production, acting as a liaison between engineering and operations.
Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes using industrial engineering and Lean Six Sigma tools.
Perform hands‑on technical troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment, tools, and processes.
Conduct process audits and quality audits on production lines; perform visual and physical product inspections.
Perform time and motion studies, line balancing, and efficiency analysis.
Develop, update, and maintain process documentation including work instructions, procedures, training materials, layouts, and LOBs (AutoCAD exposure preferred).
Manage Bill of Material (BOM) and Engineering Change (EC) data within manufacturing systems (SAP preferred).
Lead or support continuous improvement projects using PDCA, FMEA, 8D, Fishbone/Ishikawa, and other root‑cause tools.
Develop and track action plans to address production and quality issues.
Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
OR equivalent hands‑on manufacturing experience with demonstrated process/quality involvement.
Experience:
Manufacturing or production floor experience preferred.
Experience with technical troubleshooting of machines, tools, or equipment, preferred.
Exposure to Lean Six Sigma projects (Yellow or Green Belt preferred).
Skills:
Working knowledge of quality tools such as PDCA, FMEA, and 8D preferred.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to work cross‑functionally with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.
