Heavy Equipment Foreman - Florida
Candiate must be able to travel to multiple jobsites throughout Florida
CHC is seeking an experienced and hands‑on Heavy Equipment Foreman to lead our maintenance team and oversee daily operations in a fast‑paced repair environment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical expertise, leadership ability, and a commitment to keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.
Duties
Supervise mechanics and assign daily tasks.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues on heavy equipment.
Oversee preventative maintenance and repair schedules.
Ensure quality control on all repairs and inspections.
Maintain safety standards and enforce OSHA compliance.
Coordinate parts ordering and inventory management.
Communicate repair timelines and equipment status to management.
Train, mentor, and support technicians to improve skill levels.
Document work performed and maintain accurate service records.
Qualifications
5+ years experience working on heavy equipment.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Strong diagnostic and hydraulic/electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read schematics and service manuals.
Excellent communication, organization, and time management.
Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus).
