Accounts Payable Clerk
Location & Salary Austin, TX | $45,000 – $55,000 per year (base pay)
Employment Type Full‑time
Responsibilities
Process invoices, matched to purchase orders and ensuring coding accuracy and policy compliance.
Maintain daily throughput targets (20–40 invoices per day, 2–5 minutes per invoice).
Follow PO process, verify pre‑payments before release, and perform check‑ins with internal departments to resolve holds or missing approvals.
Request and reconcile vendor statements, update invoice logs, aging reports, exception trackers, and prepare routine status reports for AP leadership.
Escalate discrepancies to the AP Supervisor/Manager promptly.
Support the team and management with overall AP activities, ensuring adherence to internal AP policies and procedures.
Required Skills
High School Diploma
ERP experience (preferably Multiview, but Oracle or SAP acceptable)
6 months to 1 year of Data Entry experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office for professional responsibilities and communication
Customer Service experience
Nice to Have Skills
Associate’s degree or higher
