The Opportunity Our Client is seeking a
Labor & Employment Paralegal
to join its growing practice in
Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Sacramento offices . This is a
Remote Role . The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in supporting attorneys on complex labor and employment matters in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support attorneys in labor and employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage & hour cases
Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, and correspondence
Assist with discovery, including propounding and responding, document production, and managing deadlines
Prepare deposition materials, exhibits, and summaries
Assist with motion preparation and supporting documentation
Support trial preparation, including exhibit lists, witness lists, and trial binders
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Maintain case files and manage calendars and deadlines
Qualifications
Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience required
3+ years of labor and employment paralegal experience preferred
Experience with plaintiff-side or defense-side employment matters
Strong knowledge of California labor and employment lawsExcellent organizational, drafting, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
Proficiency with legal software and document management systems
Salary and Other Compensation The annual salary for this position ranges between
[$80,000 – $110,000 annually] . Compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, education, location, and other qualifications.
