Responsibilities
Provide information about disability-related services and documentation requirements to current and prospective students, parents, high school staff and students; oversee test proctoring at the Armstong campus.
Offer individual counseling regarding campus and community resources; meet with students to discuss accommodation needs, review medical and psychological documentation, and approve accommodations; teach students to utilize technology to access resources.
Administer and monitor examinations with accommodations for students with disabilities; schedule tests, reserve testing rooms, acquire and return tests, and proctor exams.
Collaborate with local, state and national organizations to obtain information on current resources for students with disabilities.
Communicate with faculty, staff and administration to assure that students with disabilities have equal access to all institutional programs and services.
Maintain confidential files including medical documentation and case notes.
Participate in SOAR, high school fairs and open house events.
Required Qualifications Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience:
Three (3) or more years of related work experience, including professional work experience, graduate assistantship experience, or appropriate collegiate experience.
Proposed Salary $22.01 - $22.44 per hour
This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
