The Salesforce Architect is responsible for defining and governing end-to-end Salesforce Service Cloud architecture aligned with business objectives and enterprise technology standards.
This role provides architectural leadership, drives scalable and secure solution design, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality Salesforce implementations across complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
Define and own end-to-end Salesforce Service Cloud architecture in alignment with business goals and enterprise standards. Design scalable, modular solutions across Service Cloud capabilities, including Case Management, Omni-Channel, Knowledge Base, Live Agent, CTI, and Email-to-Case. Lead the design of data models, security frameworks, and sharing architectures. Develop integration strategies using REST and SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware tools. Evaluate and recommend AppExchange products and third-party solutions as part of the overall architecture. Create and maintain solution blueprints, sequence diagrams, and architecture documentation for development teams. Act as the technical authority for Salesforce implementations, providing oversight and direction to developers, administrators, and functional consultants. Establish and enforce architectural governance standards, coding guidelines, and design patterns. Perform solution reviews, code assessments, and ensure compliance with Salesforce platform limits and security policies. Mentor development teams on Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), integrations, and performance optimization techniques. Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to translate functional requirements into robust technical designs. Participate in solution estimation, RFP responses, and pre-sales activities, providing architectural input and effort sizing. Work closely with cross-functional teams (Infrastructure, Security, Data, and Integration) to ensure end-to-end solution delivery. Support release planning, DevOps strategies, and CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce environments. Lead performance tuning, scalability evaluations, and security assessments of Salesforce solutions. Required Qualifications
10+ years of hands‑on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, and REST/SOAP APIs. 8+ years of strong experience with Salesforce data modeling, security architecture, and system integrations. 10+ years of experience designing and implementing Salesforce Service Cloud solutions, including Omni‑Channel, CTI, Knowledge, and Case Management. Hands‑on knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD automation for Salesforce platforms. Experience working in Agile delivery environments and global delivery models. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and solution‑design capabilities. Preferred Qualifications
Experience or knowledge of Field Service Lightning (FSL), Einstein Bots, or Salesforce Industries. Experience integrating Salesforce with cloud or legacy platforms such as AWS, Azure, or SAP. Familiarity with Agile at Scale frameworks and multi‑cloud Salesforce implementations. Certifications
Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect (required) Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II (required) Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or actively pursuing CTA (preferred)
