Construction Payments Coordinator (Analyst II)

Eligibility:
New-to-state candidates hired at minimum classification salary or minimum of alternate range. Must be on state examination list or have eligibility (transfer, reinstatement, SROA/Surplus, LEAP, etc.).

Responsibilities Under the general direction of the Senior Transportation Engineer supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for:
Daily, weekly, and monthly processing of construction contract payments using Contract Administration System (CAS) and AMS Advantage.
Coordinating closely with Accounting and district staff to provide accurate and timely payment processing.
Providing support for payment issues.
Minimum Requirements Minimum qualifications are listed in the Class Specification. The analyst level (ANALYST II) requires:
Possession of a valid driver’s license (when operating or driving a state‑owned or leased vehicle).
Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) response to three questions (relationship building, project management, obstacle handling). SOQ must be single‑spaced, 12‑point font, not more than two pages.
Unofficial transcripts or official sealed transcripts for educational verification; foreign transcripts must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency.
