Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician
Title: Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician (Job ID: 26-02984)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Monday–Friday, Possible OT)
Pay Rate: $30.00/Hour (W2)

About the Role Join a team driving innovation and operational excellence as a Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will ensure all manufacturing and facility equipment operates at peak performance, supporting safe, efficient, and high‑quality production.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment startup, support, and calibration.
Oversee equipment upgrades and modifications to maintain “As New” performance and appearance.
Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to optimize operations.
Plan, manage, and execute small‑scale equipment and facility projects.
Conduct and enforce Job Safety Analyses (JSA) to maintain a safe working environment.
Supervise contractors (plumbers, electricians, etc.) and coordinate mechanical assemblies.
Communicate critical program and engineering updates to teams and stakeholders in a timely manner.
Lead FMEAs for equipment upgrades, process changes, or obsolescence.
Apply Root Cause Analysis to troubleshoot and resolve equipment or process issues effectively.
Mentor and train maintenance technicians in advanced troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and best practices.
Qualifications / Skills
Strong knowledge of engineering principles and common commercial components with practical application skills.
Hands‑on experience with PLCs; Lean methodology experience is a plus.
Understanding of engineering standards, safety codes, and facility infrastructure (boilers, compressors, etc.).
Technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems and manufacturing processes.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); AutoCAD experience is a plus.
Three to five years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering disciplines, or entry‑level candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical engineering, or equivalent experience.
