Job Title : Analyst I

Salary : $3,861.00 - $6,276.00 per Month New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.

Work Location : 400 R Street, Sacramento, CA 95811

Telework : Hybrid (employees required to work in person at least two (2) days per week and as needed/required)

Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Responsibilities

Under supervision of the Supervisor I, determine eligibility of benefits in compliance with CalVCB statutes, regulations, and policies.

Make or participate in making governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests, and file Form 700 within 30 days of appointment and once per year.

Provide assistance and guidance to victims, including reimbursement of crime‑related expenses, connection to services, and support.

Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of benefits and compliance activities.

Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor that support the mission of CalVCB.

Minimum Requirements

Class Level: ANALYST I

Salary Range: $3,861.00 - $6,276.00 per month (A: $3,861.00 - $4,839.00; B: $4,181.00 - $5,233.00; C: $5,014.00 - $6,276.00)

Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship by the start date of employment.

Must complete CalVCB’s Conflict of Interest Code requirements.

Desirable Qualifications

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.

Ability to develop statistical data and evaluate results.

Ability to accurately apply and interpret policies, regulations, and laws.

Ability to take and follow verbal or written direction from supervisors/managers.

General knowledge of the CalVCB program and its mission, goals, and policies.

General knowledge of governmental functions at the state and local level.

Our building has easy access to I‑5, Highway 50 and Highway 80.
