Data Intelligence LLC
Data Intelligence, LLC (DI) is seeking an Integration & Test Engineer to support system integration, verification, and validation activities for next-generation flight and avionics systems. This role focuses on integration planning, test execution, automation, and certification support in complex, multi-domain environments.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth in integration and test methodologies and thrives in hands‑on system‑level work. This position is contingent upon winning award.
Responsibilities
Plan and execute integration and test activities across hardware and software components
Develop and automate test frameworks using C/C++, Python, and Microsoft Developer Studio
Perform verification activities aligned with DO-178 and DO-254
Support troubleshooting and resolution of integration issues
Develop and maintain test procedures, verification plans, and reports
Support system‑level readiness and certification activities
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics, and 5+ years of relevant experience
10+ years of direct experience in avionics systems, software, or hardware engineering
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in integration and test engineering
Hands‑on integration depth and multi‑domain experience:
System Integration
Experience integrating software, hardware system components
Familiarity with lab, bench, or system‑level integration environments
Verification & Validation
Execution of verification activities tied to requirements and certification
Development of test procedures and validation artifacts
Test Automation
Experience building or maintaining automated test frameworks
Use of scripting or compiled languages for test execution
Certification Support (DO-178 / DO-254)
Understanding of verification evidence and compliance expectations
Experience supporting audits or certification reviews preferred
Multi‑Domain Coordination
Collaboration with systems and software teams during integration cycles
Experience resolving cross‑domain defects and interface issues
Preferred Domain Expertise
Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:
AHMI Design
Glass Cockpit
Tactical Communications
Military Aircraft Navigation
Embedded Mission Systems
TSN & Backbone
Military Aircraft Systems
Aircraft Survivability systems
