Job Description:

• The Patient Services Representative I represents the face of the organization to patients and is responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for laboratory testing.
• This role requires providing a professional and compassionate experience while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to established procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following established procedures.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Requirement/Must Have:

• Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric collections.

Experience:

• Minimum of six months of phlebotomy experience.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard and data entry experience required.

Qualification And Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
