Float Direct Support Professional (DSP)
AHL HealthCare Group is hiring Float Direct Support Professionals who will train and work at each of our programs. We seek extraordinary, kind, and compassionate people who can act as advocates, supporters, educators, and caregivers to individuals with disabilities or mental illness.
Our homes are located in Duluth, Hermantown, Two Harbors, and Saginaw, MN. Float DSPs travel among these programs and receive their schedule on a week-to-week basis, filling in based on scheduling needs. This role offers higher compensation and mileage reimbursement.
Compensation
$20.00 - $21.00 per hour depending on the program worked at

Typical Job Duties
Assisting with personal cares, activities of daily living, grooming, cooking, cleaning, and laundry
Demonstrating positive and supportive behavior with clients and coworkers
Medication administration
Documenting services provided daily in electronic records
Socializing with residents and conducting activities with them
Attending appointments with clients
Training in all programs and filling in based on program schedule
Requirements
Must be 16 years or older
At least 1 year of experience in the field
Ability to pass a Minnesota DHS background study
Every other weekend availability required
Driver's license and ability to pass an MVR check required
Working mobile phone to be reached during availability/scheduling window
Must be able to pass a MN DHS Background Check
