JOB TITLE: ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK
CALENDAR:1902FT OR 1802PT(9MONTH) - ELEMENTARY OR JUNIOR HIGH, 2081H (9 MONTH) - HIGH SCHOOL
SALARY: GRADE 105 ( SUPPORTED HOURLY)
Job Goal Perform a variety of clerical services, following standardized procedures, in an assigned area.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in computer skills and applications as relates to this position
Satisfactory criminal background check
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google, or similar software, with the ability to learn new or updated software.
Knowledge of and adherence to district policies and procedures affecting assigned work
Core Job Functions
Perform a wide variety of clerical work, including typing, filing, coding, and preparing reports
Maintain a variety of records and files
Input information into the computer
Receive inquiries by telephone or in person and reply accordingly
Assist as needed when other staff members are absent
Maintain confidentiality of student and staff member information even after no longer employed or enrolled in CUSD schools
Accept responsibility for student well-being and safety while in the employee’s care
Perform other duties assigned that support the overall objective of the position
