JOB TITLE: SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK
CALENDAR: 2081HFT OR 2081HPT (9 MONTH)
GRADE 107 (SUPPORT HOURLY)
Job Goal:
Perform a variety of clerical services, following standardized procedures, in an assigned area.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, including courses in business-related subjects
Some previous clerical experience preferred
Ability to type accurately at an acceptable rate of speed
Proficiency in computer skills and applications as related to this position
Ability to work cooperatively with others
Flexibility to work in assigned areas and possess the required knowledge and skills
of and adherence to district policies and procedures affecting assigned work
Core Job Functions:
Perform a wide variety of clerical tasks, including typing, filing, coding, and preparing reports
Maintain a variety of records and files
Input data into the computer
Receive inquiries by telephone or in person and give out appropriate information
Relieve other absent staff members
Maintain the confidentiality of protected student and staff member information even after no longer employed
Be flexible and perform other duties relating to the general job function as assigned by the supervisor
Accept responsibility for students' well-being and safety while they are in the employee's care
Operating and caring for school districts' equipment properly
Follow district policies as outlined
Perform all duties safely and prudently as directed by supervisors
