Position: Associate Attorney – Auto Replevin Department
Location: Onsite – Tampa, FL
Position Type: Full Time
We are looking for an experienced Associate Attorney to join our Auto Replevin Department in Tampa, Florida. The ideal candidate will bring strong litigation experience, excellent client service skills, and the ability to manage a high‑volume caseload in a fast‑paced legal environment. The role works closely with support staff and clients while participating in all stages of the Impound, Collection, and Auto Replevin process across Florida.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Manage a high‑volume caseload involving auto replevin, impound, and collection matters.
Oversee associate attorneys and support staff as needed.
Prepare and review legal pleadings, including lawsuits and discovery responses.
Sign and approve pleadings and legal documents.
Attend hearings, take depositions, conduct trials, and negotiate settlements.
Meet with and advise clients regarding litigation strategy, case updates, and resolutions.
Participate in all stages of the auto replevin process and collaborate with internal teams.
Engage with professional organizations and clients, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
Optional: Contribute business development through an existing book of business (preferred).
Required Qualifications
Active member in good standing of the Florida Bar (must‑have).
3–5 years of litigation experience, preferably in auto replevin, collections, or impound litigation.
Hands‑on experience in hearings, depositions, trials, and negotiation.
Staff management experience.
Exceptional professionalism, work ethic, and attention to detail.
Client‑focused mindset with an engaging personality.
Ability to collaborate effectively and get along well with others.
Strong negotiation abilities and communication skills.
Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have
Existing book of business or history of generating business.
Experience in the collection and replevin field.
Active participation in professional legal organizations.
