Position: Senior Network Administrator

Job Type:

Full‑time; Exempt

Shift:

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM – Monday‑Friday

Work Location:

Hybrid – Travel Required up to 50%

Salary:

$95,000.00 – $110,000.00 /year

Summary The Senior Network Administrator provides hands‑on technical expertise for IT functions across Recovery Innovations’ facilities in 7+ states. Responsibilities include network administration, cybersecurity, system performance, compliance (HIPAA/HITECH/42 CFR Part 2), vendor and cost management, and maintaining a reliable infrastructure that supports the organization’s behavioral health mission.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Collaboration & Etiquette:

Ensure best practices are followed in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting. Model professionalism, teamwork, and adherence to Recovery Innovations’ values and policies.

Network Installation, Maintenance, & Monitoring:

Provision, install, configure, operate, and maintain systems hardware and software, Windows infrastructure, cloud environments, and NOC procedures.

Windows & System Management:

Configure & manage Windows servers, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, VPNs, firewalls, security appliances, VMware, Workspace One, Okta, Jira.

Disaster Recovery:

Investigate, repair, and recover from hardware or software failures and maintain disaster recovery procedures.

Cybersecurity, Compliance & Risk Management:

Lead organizational cybersecurity strategy, conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, penetration testing, ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, 42 CFR Part 2, deliver training and guides, monitor threats, and direct incident response.

Operational Efficiency & Cost Management:

Collaborate with the CAO on cost‑effective technology decisions, manage vendor relationships, recommend lifecycle replacements, and support documentation and process improvements.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration:

Provide onsite technical support for system investigations at crisis facilities, support integrations for EHR platforms and telehealth, support multiple sites in 7+ states, and align IT systems with operational needs.

Additional Duties:

Execute additional projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education/Licenses:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience in network administration.

Preferred Credentials:

Network Administration certificate, Microsoft Certified Solution Architect, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), CompTIA Network+.

Experience:

5+ years progressive IT experience in network administration or systems management; 2+ years in a lead or supervisory capacity; preference for multi‑site healthcare or behavioral health operations.

Skills: Advanced knowledge of network operating systems, WLAN, cloud environments, network topologies, hardware, Windows OS, routing, switching, data privacy, security, telecommunication systems.

Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP).

Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco and equivalent networking hardware.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid networking.

Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios).

Expertise in configuring firewalls, VPNs, and other security appliances.

Ability to lead a small technical team while maintaining hands‑on involvement.

Strong customer service background.

Demonstrated vendor management and cost‑conscious purchasing.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Physical capability: walk, run, lift a minimum of 65 lbs.

Must meet the physical requirement to lift and move up to 65 lbs.

Driving Requirements

Must meet all requirements outlined in Recovery Innovations’ driving policy.

If not qualified to drive, a Non‑Driver Attestation form must be signed.

Miscellaneous Requirements

Ability to travel between facilities across multiple states as required.

Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license.

Maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines) and professionalism.

Second‑Chance Employer: Must pass a seven‑year background check, substance abuse testing (if applicable), education verification, motor vehicle report (if driving required), and meet insurer eligibility criteria.

Must be 21 years or older.

ADDENDUM – Louisiana

Must be 24 years or older.
