Senior Accountant
Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This role may be a good fit for an Accountant ready to make the switch from public accounting to corporate healthcare accounting.
Key Responsibilities
Fixed Asset Management: Oversee monthly capital spending and maintain the fixed asset module with precise reconciliations.
Financial Review: Analyze and input account entries, ensuring financial statements and reports meet accuracy standards.
Journal Entries: Prepare both routine and complex closing entries, including accruals for debt interest and property taxes.
Audit Support: Assist with year‑end audits and compile PBC schedules as required.
Process Improvement: Develop and document accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
Reporting: Generate and maintain essential financial reports such as Balance Sheets and Income Statements, along with ad hoc reporting.
Team Oversight: Assign, review, and guide team tasks to promote collaboration and efficiency.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 2 busy seasons with Public Accounting and Healthcare clients.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Great Plains preferred.
Familiarity with banking systems and Concur SAP is a plus.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel required.
