Convergent Science is a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) company based in Madison, Wisconsin. We are hiring a Motivated HR Generalist/Office Manager to join our headquarters.
Base Pay Range $55,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation
Coordinate and administer employee benefits
Recruit and onboard new hires, including sourcing applicants, screening resumes, and facilitating orientation
Assist in developing HR policies, procedures, and manager training
Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and manage disciplinary actions
Ensure employment law compliance (ADA, FSLA, DOL) and administer FMLA/leave
Coordinate employee travel
Oversee and maintain all aspects of our two office locations, managing vendor relationships
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
3–5 years of HR experience
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities efficiently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Outgoing, creative, and highly self‑motivated
Payroll processing experience (desirable)
Knowledge of immigration processes (desirable)
Experience with Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (desirable)
