The Patient Services Representative I represents the face of the company to patients and plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional patient experience.
This entry-level role focuses on patient interaction, lobby support, and customer service, with training provided to develop phlebotomy skills.
The role emphasizes compassion, professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy while supporting daily operations and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
Requirement / Must Have
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1–2 years of client-facing customer service experience.
Strong customer service skills with a compassionate and patient-focused approach.
Willingness and motivation to learn phlebotomy skills.
Keyboard and data entry proficiency.
Experience
Experience in retail, healthcare support, or other customer-facing roles.
No prior phlebotomy experience required.
Responsibilities
Greet patients upon arrival and assist with check‑ins using self‑service kiosks or handheld devices.
Answer patient questions and address concerns with care and professionalism.
Maintain a safe, clean, and professional lobby and waiting area.
Assist with breaks and coverage when phlebotomists are unavailable.
Maintain required records and documentation accurately.
Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, and staff.
Learn and perform phlebotomy and specimen collection duties as trained, following established procedures.
Skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy with patient information.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
