We are seeking a Global Technical Activation Engineer. This pivotal role bridges the gap between engineering, product development, and field operations by transforming Lenovo's Hybrid Cloud and AI-enabled Solutions into tangible, field-ready technical assets. You will be the technical domain expert responsible for one or more solution pillars, crafting compelling demos, reference architectures, and enablement content that bring our innovations to life. This is where storytelling meets architecture-where technology becomes real through experience, not just description.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Enablement : Define a global enablement strategy, ensuring consistent technical readiness across geographies and partner channels. Mentor regional enablement leads to drive excellence and alignment.

Solution Engineering & Demos : Architect scalable, multi-solution demo frameworks that integrate seamlessly with partner ecosystems and cloud alliances to showcase Lenovo's capabilities.

Proof of Concept & Field Support : Establish and govern PoC standards, ensuring scalability and repeatability. Develop frameworks that enable consistent and successful field execution.

Technical Content Creation : Lead the global technical content strategy, overseeing the development of accurate, scalable, and go-to-market-aligned assets including guides, blueprints, configuration briefs, whitepapers, technical blogs, and presentations. Create hands‑on labs and demos for tradeshows, workshops, conferences, and similar events.

Field & Partner Readiness : Design global technical enablement programs, including curriculum development, certification paths, and performance metrics.

Competitive & Performance Benchmarking:

Direct competitive intelligence validation and shape technical differentiation narratives. Help develop technical claims to differentiate offerings.

Feedback Loop to Engineering : Drive structured feedback channels and represent customer voice in offering roadmap reviews.

Thought Leadership : Serve as technical evangelist in analyst briefings, conferences, and industry consortiums.

Act as the technical point-of-contact for Beta customers, supporting their onboarding and feedback processes.

Basic Qualifications

12+ years of experience technical pre-sales, solution engineering, or technical marketing, ideally across multiple GEOs.

Solid understanding of Hybrid Cloud, infrastructure modernization, virtualization, automation, and AI workloads.

Hands‑on experience with Lenovo or equivalent OEM technologies (VMware, Nutanix, Azure Stack, Red Hat, Kubernetes, etc.).

Skilled in lab/demo design, technical documentation, and field enablement delivery.

Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills (translating complex to simple).

Proven leadership of technical enablement programs or global solution frameworks.

Influencer in technical communities (speaker, author, advisor).

Strong stakeholder influence across engineering, portfolio, and field organizations.

Experience managing or mentoring technical teams
