Job Description California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) seeks clinical social workers currently employed by the State of California to add a dual appointment as a Clinical Social Worker, HDSP, Safety. The role is part‑time, up to 40 hours per month, and does not constitute overtime. Working hours will be outside your normal schedule and are determined by the hiring location.
As a dual appointment, the role must be a distinctly different position from your primary job; supervisors, managers or executives are ineligible. Onsite dual appointments at your primary institution may be available.
This is a limited‑term position that may be extended. Duties are detailed in the Duty Statement.

Time worked is not considered overtime.
Time worked will be outside your normal hours.
The dates and hours of work will be determined by the hiring location.
Minimum Requirements Minimum qualifications can be found in the Class Specification.
Desirable Qualifications
Possession of a valid Associate Clinical Social Worker license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science.
