Annual Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025):

All full‑time employees will have their base salary reduced by 3% and receive 5 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Part‑time and permanent intermittent employees are prorated.

Recruitment & Retention Incentives:

One‑time recruitment and retention stipend of up to $10,000 if employed for 6 months.

Monthly differential during the first year totaling $20,000 if criteria met.

Referral bonus of $5,000 for CDCR/CCHCS employees who remain employed 90 days.

Job Description & Duties Under the general direction of the Senior Psychologist, Correctional Facility (CF) or the Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker, CF, the Clinical Social Worker (Health/CF) Safety:

Conducts assessments and summarizes case information for diagnosis, treatment level of care, and disposition release.

Diagnoses and/or collaborates in the formulation of diagnoses.

Develops, monitors, and modifies treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team.

Provides assessments, group therapy, collateral conferences, and documents and evaluates patients' progress.

Coordinates placement with community resources and the Classification and Parole Representative.

Minimum Qualifications

Valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science.

Master's degree in social work from an accredited school approved by the Council on Social Work Education.

Unlicensed individuals may be employed only for the period necessary to obtain licensure (maximum one year, extendable to a maximum of two years with extenuating circumstances).

Participation in and completion of the Clinical Social Worker (Health/Correctional Facility) Safety Bulletin examination (list eligibility required).
