Compensation:
$12/hr plus tips.
Work Schedule:
Open availability; shifts include weekdays, weekends, and holidays across Baltimore locations.
Benefits:
Eligible for accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefits, and 401(k) plan for full‑time employees. Seasonal and temporary roles are not eligible for benefits.
Responsibilities The Guest Service Associate (Valet Attendant) is responsible for:
Maintaining a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests and co‑workers.
Welcoming guests, using proper phone etiquette and greeting guests within five feet.
Parks and retrieves vehicles safely, assists with luggage and door service.
Provides directions, assists with reservations, and delivers items or messages as requested.
Explains parking rates, issues claim checks, maintains accurate records, and calculates revenue as needed.
Essential Functions Key duties performed throughout the shift (percent ~ time):
25% - Keep a professional demeanor, greet guests, use last names.
10% - Use appropriate salutations, phone etiquette, and stand ready to assist.
20% - Drive slowly and cautiously, assist with bell services and luggage.
10% - Provide directions, arrange taxis, communicate facility amenities.
35% - Manage parking records, claim checks, revenue collection.
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or GED.
Licensure:
Valid driver's license for the state of employment.
Experience:
At least one month of related experience or equivalent education/experience.
Knowledge:
Customer service principles and procedures.
Skills:
Read/write standard English.
Follow simple instructions.
Present information to guests.
Perform basic arithmetic with money.
Understand 24‑hour time, rates, manual transmission desirable.
Parallel parking ability.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions Employees regularly talk, hear, sit, stand, run, walk, handle objects, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. They may lift up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, or 20 lbs constantly. Work is mainly outdoors and may expose workers to extreme heat or cold. Travel up to 5% may be required.
