Shift Differentials: Available for night, weekend, and additional shifts.
Location: MO‑SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital – St.

Qualifications
Completion of Cardiac Sonography program and ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac Sonography.
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) – Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) – Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with Adult Echocardiography (AE) Specialty – American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) Specialty – American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) – American Heart Association (AHA).
No experience required.
Responsibilities
Performs diagnostic procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics in accordance with accepted protocols. This position performs either adult or pediatric echosonography.
Monitors patient comfort and safety during tests, alerting physicians to abnormalities or changes in patient responses.
Maintains adequate supplies and verifies all equipment is in proper working condition; ensures all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
Ensures prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).
Assists in maintaining a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in the department.
Frequent reaching, gripping and keyboard use/data entry.
Work Shift : Variable shift (United States of America).
