Job Description
Work independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside
Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies
Conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability so spaces are ready to rent
Audit cash drawers and conduct bank deposits as part of the daily business
Help keep customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required
Physical Requirements
Transport, lift, and move items weighing up to 35 pounds
Walk and traverse facilities, spending up to 50% time outdoors, including climbing stairs and opening large doors
Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks such as sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds for curb appeal
Qualifications
Experience: Successful candidates come from customer service‑centered sales environments, including retail, restaurant, fast‑food, or other service‑based companies
Transportation: Valid driver’s license required. Employees must use their own vehicle to travel between work locations and/or conduct work‑related business (mileage reimbursement available)

Property Managers are responsible for:
Driving to multiple properties and performing bank cash deposits
Working alone; opening and closing facilities; assisting reservation and walk‑in customers in renting storage spaces, resolving issues, and completing lease agreements; being responsible for company assets/property; and accessing customer accounts, including confidential and sensitive personal information, when responding to break‑ins and delinquent accounts
Accepting, entering, and accurately documenting all customer payments, ensuring that cash handling and deposits are conducted in accordance with company policy
Making scheduled delinquent calls, accessing customer personal information, executing lien sales, and administering transactions with auction vendors, including providing access to purchased space
