Description
This contract position is located in Irvine, offering a unique opportunity to work on-site within a dynamic medical practice environment. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality radiological services to our patients.
In this role, you will leverage your expertise in radiology to deliver accurate diagnoses and support patient care initiatives. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance our diagnostic capabilities, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of patient safety and quality.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
Interpret imaging results and provide accurate reports
Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss imaging findings
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all procedures
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to case discussions
Maintain patient records and document findings in a timely manner
Stay updated on advancements in radiology techniques and technologies
Provide guidance and training to junior staff and medical students
Requirements
MD degree from an accredited medical school
Completion of a residency in Radiology
Active medical license in the state of California
Strong knowledge of radiological procedures and protocols
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is preferred
Schedule: 7:30a-5p
Setting: Remote
Daily Volume: 100 cases
Case Types: General or MSK
Board certification required
