Job Summary Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Environmental Services, which may include general cleaning, floor maintenance, and laundry functions.
Essential Functions
Supervise Environmental Services employees, interview, select, and train new employees.
Participate in the development and implementation of department‑wide projects and programs; respond to customer concerns and compliments.
Control operating expenses and adjust staffing levels based on fluctuating workloads.
Develop and maintain employee performance standards to achieve desired quality results through daily rounding and required audits; evaluate employee performance.
Utilize the Beaumont Standards and effective communication skills to incorporate specific age, cultural, or developmental needs.
Maintain and improve employee engagement through rounding, recognition, team building, and meetings.
Participate in department and hospital committees.
Develop programs and practices that ensure correct and safe use of chemical products and equipment.
Evaluate new and existing products and equipment.
Qualifications
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Associate’s Degree.
Required: 3 years of relevant experience in Healthcare, Environmental Services, and/or customer service.
Preferred: 2 years of relevant leadership experience.
Preferred: Knowledge of hospital procedures and practices.

Hours of Work: 11 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
Days Worked: Monday to Friday.
Weekend Frequency: Every other weekend.
