A contracted role is available for Speech Language Pathologists to provide specialized support within K-12 public schools in Jacksonville, FL. This position requires a flexible and skilled professional to deliver speech therapy services across multiple school sites, working closely with students from Pre‑K through 12th grade, primarily serving mild to moderate caseloads.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive speech‑language therapy for students with diverse communication needs.
Manage an estimated caseload of approximately 60 students, adjusting based on specific school assignments.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all state and district guidelines.
Travel between multiple school locations within the district as needed to deliver services itinerantly.
Qualifications And Experience
Active Florida Department of Health licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Experience working in school settings with children ranging from Pre‑K to Grade 12.
Ability to manage a moderate caseload efficiently.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Commitment to supporting student development and progress.
Position Details
Location: Jacksonville, FL (Duval County Public Schools)
Contract Duration: January 5, 2026 through May 28, 2026
Schedule: 35 hours per week (7‑hour days)
On‑Site Requirement: Services provided in‑person at multiple school sites
