Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide speech-language therapy services across multiple schools within a dynamic K-12 public school setting located in Jacksonville, FL. This contract position, lasting from early January through late May, offers an opportunity to support a diverse range of students from Pre-K to 12th grade with mild to moderate communication disorders. The position requires approximately 35 hours of work per week, with an itinerant schedule visiting multiple school sites to manage an estimated caseload of up to 60 students. Key Responsibilities: Deliver evidence-based speech-language pathology services to students across multiple school locations Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school district policies Provide direct therapy and consultative support to address communication needs spanning receptive, expressive, social, and articulation domains Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to a positive educational environment Qualifications: Active Florida Department of Health Speech-Language Pathology Licensure is required Experience working with Pre-K through 12th-grade students in a school setting preferred Ability to manage an itinerant caseload effectively and adapt to varied school environments Strong communication and organizational skills necessary for collaboration with school staff and families Committed to supporting student success and fostering inclusive learning experiences Location: Jacksonville, FL (on-site at multiple school sites) This contract offers an excellent opportunity to impact student learning in a supportive and engaging environment.
