Job Purpose Oversee and optimize maintenance activities to maximize production uptime, safety, and equipment reliability at our Garland, TX Assembly plant. Lead a team of technicians, manage maintenance systems, and collaborate with operations and engineering for continuous improvement.
Primary Responsibilities
Equipment & Facility Maintenance: plan, organize, and direct preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
Supervise daily repairs, inspections, and special project tasks across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Oversee building upkeep—repairs, HVAC, grounds, janitorial—ensuring safe and compliant facilities.
Leadership & Team Management: lead, mentor, and evaluate maintenance technicians; recruit and train to build a high-performing team.
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement; conduct regular safety and training sessions.
Maintenance Systems & Inventory: develop and manage preventive maintenance and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs.
Track and maintain work orders, equipment history, spares inventory, and KPIs.
Manage spare parts stock—optimize inventory levels and reduce obsolescence.
Continuous Improvement & Budgeting: collaborate on process, reliability, and installation improvements with engineering and production teams.
Track performance metrics (PM compliance, cost control, uptime) and recommend improvements.
Develop and manage maintenance budgets and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
Safety & Regulatory Compliance: ensure adherence to federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.
Review and enforce safety protocols—LOTO, PPE usage—and document compliance activities.
Vendor & Contractor Coordination: coordinate vendor relationships for parts, service, and contract work; evaluate performance and quotes.
Qualifications
4‑year degree in engineering, technology, management, or equivalent experience.
Experience with world‑class manufacturing practices (TPM, 5S, Lean, etc.).
Maintenance management experience desired.
Strong coaching and people development skills.
Strong, proactive communicator, effective both one‑to‑one and in group settings.
Ability to develop and maintain a respectful and safe work environment.
Pay Range $99,216.00 – $153,784.00

PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit‑sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
