Transformation Project Manager
The Transformation Project Manager (PM) leads enterprise transformation initiatives across clinical, operational, and administrative domains at UF Health. This role is accountable for end-to-end project delivery, from discovery and scoping through implementation and value realization, while ensuring alignment with UF Health’s mission, strategic plan, and performance goals.
The Transformation PM partners closely with service line leaders, finance, nursing, ambulatory services, perioperative services, and academic stakeholders to design and execute improvements in access, throughput, quality, safety, and patient experience.
Occasional travel to various UF Health locations may be required. The Project Manager may also be involved in training and mentoring staff in project management best practices.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field required; a Bachelor’s degree with equivalent transformation experience may be considered.
Four (4) or more years of project management experience leading multiple, simultaneous, multidisciplinary initiatives in a healthcare environment.
Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies (PMP, Lean, Lean Six Sigma) and change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR).
PMP certification preferred but not required.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred but not required.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Proficiency with project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms).
Analytical mindset with a strong understanding of data, metrics, and reporting to measure project success.
Advanced stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and executive communication skills, with the ability to influence without formal authority.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff across diverse educational backgrounds.
