Base pay range $66,535.82/yr - $99,803.86/yr

The Business Analyst will be responsible for bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technology solutions, ensuring that project outcomes align with business needs and objectives. This role involves analyzing, validating, and documenting business requirements for various projects in the Human Resources department. This person will then identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement, often recommending how to optimize these processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a knack for problem‑solving, business process mapping and optimization experience, ability to conduct user experience studies, and broad experience in a project‑based, tech‑forward environment.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with project sponsors, stakeholders, and end‑users to elicit, understand, and document business requirements, processes, and workflows.

Conduct meetings, workshops, and research, to gather comprehensive information.

Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, break down high‑level information into details, and distinguish user requests from underlying true needs.

Create and maintain clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents, functional specifications, use cases, user stories, process flow diagrams, and report mock‑ups.

Ensure all documentation is kept up‑to‑date and version controlled.

Serve as a liaison among business units, technology teams, and support teams.

Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross‑functional team members and management.

Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate communication to ensure alignment.

Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement, often recommending how SuccessFactors, ServiceNow or UKG can optimize these processes.

Recommend solutions to improve business processes and system functionalities.

Work closely with the HR Project Manager in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables for projects.

Assist in the development of test plans and participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to ensure solutions meet business requirements.

Provide support during project implementation and post‑implementation phases.

Analyze data to support business decisions and project directions.

Translate data into actionable insights for stakeholders.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in a related field.

3-5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a project‑based environment.

Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development.

Experience working with project management software such as JIRA.

Experience working on projects involving cloud solutions; familiarity with SuccessFactors, ServiceNow or UKG is highly desirable.
