LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a fast-growing organization near Garland, TX. They are hiring an Accounts Payable Manager on a direct hire basis. The ideal candidate will have experience leading AP teams, process improvements, automation tools, vendor management and acquisitions.
Position Overview
Provide leadership and guidance to the Accounts Payable team, fostering accuracy, efficiency, and high performance.
Supervise all AP functions including invoice processing, vendor payments, expense reporting, credit memos, and account reconciliations.
Maintain strong vendor relationships and resolve complex issues or escalations promptly.
Track AP aging reports, manage cash disbursements, and uphold internal control standards.
Champion process enhancements, automation initiatives, and consistency across multiple locations.
Collaborate with IT and finance leadership to improve AP system capabilities.
Assist with internal and external audits by delivering required documentation and reports.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
Minimum of 7 years in Accounts Payable, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
In-depth knowledge of AP processes, three-way matching, and compliance requirements.
Skilled in ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) and advanced Excel functionality.
Familiarity with automated workflow tools is a plus.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
Track record of implementing departmental improvements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
Effective leadership qualities and professional demeanor.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and assignments simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team training, vendor interaction, and executive-level reporting.
