Business Development Manager, Staffing & Workforce Solutions

Our client is a growing staffing and workforce solutions organization seeking a
Business Development Manager
to drive new client acquisition and revenue growth within a defined market. This role partners closely with branch leadership to expand market presence, strengthen customer relationships, and consistently deliver against sales performance expectations.
The ideal candidate brings a strong hunter mindset, excels in consultative selling, and thrives in a metrics-driven, fast-paced environment.
What you’ll be doing:
Identify, pursue, and secure new client relationships within the local market
Execute proactive prospecting strategies including cold outreach, in-person visits, and virtual meetings
Maintain a high level of weekly sales activity, including first-time meetings with prospective customers
Develop and manage a sales pipeline aligned to revenue and growth targets
Partner with internal recruiting and operations teams to deliver customized workforce solutions
Prepare and present tailored sales proposals and presentations
Track sales performance metrics and participate in weekly sales review meetings
Stay informed on market conditions, competitive activity, and customer needs to uncover new opportunities
What you’ll need:
Proven success selling services in a competitive, fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to consistently generate new business through outbound sales efforts
Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously while meeting activity and revenue goals
Customer-focused mindset with a long-term relationship approach
Working knowledge of CRM platforms and Microsoft Office 365 tools
Solid business judgment and understanding of professional services or staffing environments
