The RN provides high‑quality, safe, cost‑effective, total nursing care to all patients. The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process. The RN directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, and Infection Control, with the goal of discharging the patient with an optimum level of care. They coordinate and plan patient care within the prescribed medical regime, administer all medications safely and timely per hospital policy, perform and fulfill all HICS responsibilities, and understand the hospital’s emergency codes. Education
Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing. Experience
Preferred: Recent acute care experience. Certifications
Required: Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice the profession per law/state policy; AHA BLS. If applicable: AHA ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP (as per corporate policy for unit of hire). Legal and Equal Opportunity Statement
