Job Responsibilities:
Serve as the first internal IT hire, supporting a growing organization with a blend of desktop support and data analysis/reporting responsibilities
Provide day-to-day technical support for end users, including:
Setting up and configuring new workstations
Troubleshooting hardware issues (monitors, desktops, peripherals)
Adding, disabling, and managing user accounts
Assist with data cleanup and organization, particularly when onboarding data from newly acquired assets or entities
Support SQL databases and help extract, clean, and analyze data as needed
Create and maintain ad hoc reports to support business operations and leadership decision-making
Collaborate closely with leadership to help define and evolve IT and data processes as the business grows
Work independently in a flexible environment, taking ownership of tasks and priorities
Requirements:
Must-Have Qualifications
Hands-on desktop support experience
Experience with:
User account management
Workstation setup and hardware troubleshooting
Working knowledge of SQL databases
Strong Excel skills
Experience with or strong interest in data analysis and reporting
Ability to clean, organize, and validate data from multiple sources
Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently
Flexible, adaptable mindset with a desire to grow skills and responsibilities over time
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience supporting or working within the oil & gas industry
