About the Role LHH is seeking an experienced
Senior Accountant
to join our client's team in Hackensack, NJ. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking for a role that could evolve into a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.
Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
CPA certification is a plus.
