Salary: $7,294.00 – $10,378.00 per month

Responsibilities Under the general direction of the Sr. Psychologist, the Clinical Counselor works in Mental Health Services. The Clinical Counselor applies counseling interventions and psychotherapeutic techniques within applicable law and licenses to improve the mental health of incarcerated individuals and to promote preventive wellness behaviors. The Clinical Counselor works preventatively with the incarcerated population, including those not in the mental health delivery system, to provide access, outreach, and prevention wellness strategies.

Possession of a valid Associate Clinical Counselor license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science.
