Job Summary We are seeking a strategic, communicative, and compassionate physical therapist who will diagnose and treat individuals with conditions that limit mobility, helping them improve quality of life by alleviating pain and improving function. This role requires flexibility, collaboration, out‑of‑the‑box thinking, and problem solving, and may involve lifting, transfers, and daily standing.
Responsibilities
Plan, organize and deliver physical therapy programs to help patients recover and improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength and prevent deformities.
Document patient information for evaluation.
Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, schedules and home self‑exercises.
Maintain documentation in accordance with departmental guidelines and meet all regulatory requirements.
Analyze and record therapeutic progress; recommend necessary adjustments.
Follow guidelines, regulations, standards and safety procedures in the therapy process.
Qualifications
Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist.
May require a valid driver’s license.
Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications; Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.
