Sanford Health is a not‑for‑profit organization dedicated to providing high‑quality, individualized care in Western South Dakota. We are looking for a full‑time Physical Therapist to join our Black Hills Orthopedic & Spine Center in Rapid City.

Job Summary We seek a strategic, communicative, and compassionate therapist to diagnose and treat patients with conditions that limit mobility. The role involves creating and delivering physical therapy programs that improve function, alleviate pain, and prevent deformities, while maintaining rigorous documentation and collaboration with physicians and APPs.
Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and deliver individualized physical therapy programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and increase strength.
Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with departmental guidelines.
Educate patients and families about treatment goals, schedules, and home exercise regimens.
Analyze and record therapeutic progress, recommending adjustments as needed.
Follow all governing guidelines, regulations, and safety procedures in the therapy process.
Qualifications
Relevant education and licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
Valid driver’s license if required for job duties.
Maintenance of department‑specific competencies and certifications; Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire.
