Provide high-quality emergency and family medicine care to adult and pediatric patients (6 months and up) Perform procedures including I&D, lac repairs, ear irrigations, and other minor interventions Manage a patient load averaging 20 cases per day utilizing Epic EMR Work independently as the sole provider, ensuring thorough assessment and treatment Collaborate effectively with support staff and a supervising physician (for APPs) Adhere to clinical protocols, maintain certifications, and ensure patient safety and satisfaction Required Skills
Minimum of 12 months clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in urgent or emergency care Certification in Physician Assistant (PA-C), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or equivalent Active licensure and board certification (NCCPA or relevant Boards) BLS certification mandatory Proficiency in Epic EMR system Strong soft skills, including effective communication and patient rapport Ability to work independently and handle a diverse patient demographic Nice to Have Skills
Experience with pediatric care or procedures Previous work in urgent care or emergency department settings Familiarity with minor procedures and high-volume clinical environments Preferred Education and Experience
Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program or Nurse Practitioner program At least 12 months of post-licensure clinical experience in urgent or emergency care Comfortable working in multiple locations within a 65-mile radius Other Requirements
Compliance with all licensing, certification, and hospital credentialing standards Ability to start as early as late December 2025 Willingness to undergo EMR training and onboarding processes Mileage reimbursement for support across multiple sites No overnight travel or call requirements; offsite supervision provided by a supervising physician We encourage proactive, dedicated clinicians ready to make a difference and expand their skills to apply now.
