Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a full patient load independently, addressing urgent care needs for both adult and pediatric patients (6 months and up).
• Perform minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, ear irrigation, and more.
• Utilize Epic EMR system efficiently, demonstrating proficiency as required.
• Collaborate with support staff and a supervising physician to ensure seamless patient care.
• Maintain compliance with all certifications and licensing requirements.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 12 months clinical experience in urgent or emergency care settings.
• Board-certified (BC/NCCPA for PA; Family NP Cert for NP).
• Active and current BLS certification.
• Strong soft skills with excellent communication and patient interaction abilities.
• Ability to work independently and handle all aspects of patient treatment.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous experience with Epic EMR.
• Skilled in minor procedures and pediatric/ adult urgent care management.
• Knowledge of hospital or emergency medicine protocols.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Certified Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) with valid licensure.
• At least one year of relevant clinical practice in urgent/emergency care.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Epic EMR.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work within a 65-mile radius of your residence.
• Flexibility to support multiple locations as needed.
• Must complete EMR training and onboarding prior to first solo shift.
• No travel or lodging reimbursements; mileage only.
