What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Maintain the practice management system by entering accurate data and updating insurance and claims information
Prepare, review, submit, and follow up with clean claims to various companies/individuals
Collect, post, and manage patient account payments
Investigate rejected claims to identify reasons for denials and correct claims
Provide timely and professional customer service to resolve patient billing issues
What is Required (Qualifications)
High school graduate or equivalent
Minimum of one year of billing experience preferred
Knowledge of revenue cycle processes, medical insurance, and general accounting principles
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in a healthcare setting
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
