This role is part of the Flynn Panera franchise of Panera Bread, a decentralized business model led by Market Leaders, Area Directors, General Managers, Assistant Managers, and Team Managers. Flynn Panera is the second largest Panera franchisee in the world.
Base Pay Range $23.50/hr – $25.00/hr
Position Overview Our cafes are upscale, friendly venues serving baked breads, pastries, soups, salads, sandwiches, and specialty espresso beverages. No late nights or fry facilities. Managers oversee up to 75 staff, ensuring top-quality service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide outstanding leadership and inspire the team.
Coach, counsel, create a profitable environment, and deliver exceptional customer experience.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, food quality and safety.
Be a role‑model; ensure excellent customer service.
Take ownership of business performance.
Maintain a safe, secure, healthy environment.
Run quality opening, mid, and closing shifts.
Coordinate operations during scheduled shifts.
Greet customers and conduct table visits.
Recruit, train, and motivate staff.
Assist bakery‑cafe specialists in training and competence.
Ensure objectives achieved while following guidelines, culture, and ethical practices.
Exhibit a professional image and promote values.
Education and Experience
At least 1–2 years of hospitality experience.
Food Management Certifications a plus.
Run‑it‑like‑you‑own‑it mentality.
Excellent organization, customer service, and time‑management skills.
Proven track record for leadership.
Passion, energy, and a positive attitude.
Ability to work under pressure with diverse teams.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
