Responsible for day-to-day management and oversight of Physical Therapy department operations. Ensures consistent interpretation and implementation of physician prescriptions through supervision of staff. Manages scheduling, workload distribution, and resource utilization for efficient department function. Leads department-level initiatives involving staff competency, performance evaluations, and corrective action processes. Supports the Director with administrative planning, staffing needs, and departmental development. Qualifications
Education Required: Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy. Preferred: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, rehabilitation leadership). Licenses/ Certifications/ registrations Required: Must have or be eligible for State Licensure or Registration. Must have a current certification in CPR. Preferred: NA Experience Required: Clinical experience as a Physical Therapist with demonstrated leadership abilities. Have ability to provide for patient's physical rehabilitation and psychosocial well-being. Ability to communicate with others both medically and publicly. Have a nice appearance, being well-groomed and demonstrate appropriate contact. Preferred: minimum of eight (8) years clinical experience. Prior supervisory or management experience in a therapy or healthcare setting.
