This role is ideal for a service-oriented insurance professional who understands that great service naturally leads to meaningful coverage conversations.
You’ll serve as a trusted point of contact for existing clients—resolving needs, anticipating gaps in coverage, and helping ensure policyholders are properly protected. While this is not a high‑pressure sales role, the ability to pivot from service to sales in a consultative, needs‑based way is essential.
Insurance licensing is required. Prior State Farm agency experience is strongly preferred.
Role Overview
As an Account Manager, you will support and retain the agency’s existing book of business while contributing to growth through policy reviews, cross‑selling, and relationship‑based recommendations. Your success will be measured by service quality, retention, and your ability to identify appropriate coverage enhancements.
What You’ll Do
Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients, delivering prompt and professional service
Answer coverage questions and explain policies in a clear, customer‑friendly manner
Assist with policy changes, renewals, billing questions, and service requests
Support clients through the claims process and follow up as needed
Conduct proactive policy reviews to identify coverage gaps and in‑book sales opportunities
Recommend additional products when they align with customer needs
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with agency and regulatory standards
Collaborate with team members to deliver a consistent, high‑quality customer experience
What We’re Looking For
Strong customer service and relationship‑building skills
Ability to pivot naturally from service to sales using a consultative approach
Active Property & Casualty license required (Life & Health preferred or required based on state)
Prior State Farm agency experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail‑oriented, organized, and dependable
Professional, client‑focused mindset
What We Offer

Stable role centered on service, retention, and long‑term client relationships
Supportive agency culture focused on quality, accountability, and teamwork
Ongoing professional development and growth opportunities
A meaningful career helping individuals and families protect what matters most
